About Pedro Saraiva
NOVA Information and Management School (NOVA IMS) Dean. Pedro holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Coimbra (1987) and a Ph.D. in the same area from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA (1993).
He is Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra since 1984, where he is Full Professor since 2010, with an extensive pedagogical activity focused on topics related to management, quality, innovation, new product development, and entrepreneurship, especially with students from science and engineering. He has been developing several research activities focused on Process Systems Engineering, Data Analysis, New Product Development, Quality, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
