About Rafael Oliveira Rodrigues
Rafael Oliveira Rodrigues is currently an R&D project manager at EDP in the teams of Smart Energy Systems and Digital Energy. He holds an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and former Ph.D. student in Computational and Perceptional Systems at Nova University of Lisbon. With 5 years of experience, he has worked on European R&D activities in both academia and industry. Thanks to his strong curiosity and team-working capabilities, Rafael has already conducted research on 10 European projects in the health and energy sectors. He possesses an in-depth understanding of communication networks, interoperability of Cyber-Physical Systems, integration of multiple energy vectors, and new trends in electrical mobility. Since 2021, he has been actively involved in the activities of Task 2 in the Working Group on business models from the Bridge initiative.
