About Tiago Cunha Reis
Tiago Cunha Reis, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in Bioengineering Systems from the MIT-Portugal program, having developed his Ph.D. at the Hammond Lab (MIT, USA). With a focus on medical translation needs, Tiago is recognized for his passion for humanizing technology in healthcare and improving diagnostic and prognostic tools. With an extensive history of awards, publications, and international nominations in European scientific societies, he founded the startup Mater Dynamics, focused on sensors and artificial intelligence, which was acquired at the end of 2022. As the founder and CEO of Mater Dynamics, Tiago led the company’s R&D and business strategy. Additionally, he is a scientific reviewer for scientific journals and the European Commission.
