1. Physical Ergonomics

The identification and monitoring of risk factors in the workplace is based on the application of specific assessment tools and the analysis of the physical interaction between the person and the surrounding environment. We use state-of-the-art technology to complement the assessment, analysing the activity of workers in their work environment. We use sensor-based systems to perform real-time ergonomic and/or biomechanical analyses, supporting challenging environments and providing fast and reliable results. This process ensures compliance with commissioning requirements, occupational safety and applicable legislation.

2. Human-system interaction

Interfaces, whether analogue or digital, are part of our daily lives, with people interacting with multiple types of systems on a daily basis, including in their work environment. The quality of this interaction is critical to operational success. The development and implementation of human-machine interfaces (hardware and/or software) plays an essential role in the user experience, improving performance and preventing human error.

UNIDEMI applies user-centred human-machine interaction study techniques to foster the development and improvement of all types of interfaces. This increases the potential of interfaces and shapes them to meet user expectations. To reinforce the analysis, we use advanced monitoring systems and customise physical interfaces through 3D printing, including prostheses and other customised devices.
