Bernardo has a large experience in the areas of Media, Communication and Strategy, having worked at Sic Notícias, Portugal Telecom and Media Luso, as well as in the public sector.
He was Advisor to the Minister of Economy in 2007 and coordinated the Business Center of Portugal at Shangai Expo, as part of Fundo de Apoio à Inovação, where he accompanied the implementation of several projects in the energy field.
In 2010 he moved to the Financial sector, working at Espirito Santo Group, where he was Head for Africa Financial Institutions in the Corporate Banking Department, supporting the internationalization and exports of Portuguese companies. Bernardo lived in são Paulo, Brazil, for 2 years, where he was responsible for the financial structuring and fundraising for the world’s fourth largest biomass project.
More recently, Bernardo worked first as an Advisor to the Minister of Economy and after as Advisor the Prime Minister for Regional and Business Affairs. He is currently Principal at EY Parthenon.
