NOVA Startup Competition 2025
NEXT EVENT: July 30th 2025 at NOVA Rectorate
What is it about?
The final of the NOVA Startup Competition 2025 has been scheduled, and it is time to select the university start-up that will represent NOVA at the grand European final of Stage Two on 30 October in Berlin.
The best university start-ups in Europe will come together for this event, where they will have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions to leading investors, receive specialised mentoring and join a high-potential European network.
Applications for the national competition are open until 24 July.

For whom?
This initiative is open to teams that include at least one member affiliated with NOVA University—such as a student, alumnus, professor, or researcher. The technology or scientific innovation underlying the project must have been developed, at least in part, at NOVA.
When will it happen?
Deadline for Registration and Business plan/Pitch deck submission: July 24th, 2025;
Communication of selected Ideas: July 28th, 2025;
Final Pitch – at the Rectorate NOVA University Lisbon: July 30st, 2025 | 2.30 – 5 pm.
