Design, assembly and development of new X-ray spectrometry systems, and combining them with imaging techniques and molecular techniques bridging physics and chemistry to Biomedical Sciences, Art and Cultural Heritage research and toxicology fields in human being, in food and in forensic sciences.

Competitive advantages 

Development of compact and state of the art XRF spectrometers. We are the main group in Portugal in the implementation of this spectroscopic technique.
