João started as a consultant in the advertisement, health, and financial services, working mostly in the UK. Since then, partnered with some startups to deliver products, and started a few others. He is the co-founder and CTO at Codacy. This startup has developed a tool to automatically revise programming code, hence helping programmers saving time and being more productive. Codacy already raised over 14 million dollars in different investment rounds…and keeps growing.
João holds a BSc in Mathematics from FCT NOVA.
